Abstract
This Regulation, which consists of 12 articles, aims to improve environmental health and reduce any measures considered a threat to the environment. In particular, the Regulation enacts provisions regarding hygiene of waters including surface water and groundwater resources as well as establishes the Committee to Protect Drinking Water Sources in urban and rural areas. With regards to food, the Regulation lays down provisions on production, storage and supply of food. According to this Regulation, sanitation is the main priority, in order to prevent the spread of animal diseases, as well as prevent the environment from chemicals pollution. The Ministry of Health is responsible to follow the purposes of this Regulation, as well as to persecute violators when necessary.
