Abstract
The Regulation, which consists of 8 articles, aims to determine responsibilities of various Ministries and Organizations about extra-territorial cultivation. The Ministry of Agriculture is responsible to facilitate the extra-territorial cultivation for applicants through providing them with adequate information, consultation and the guarantee to purchase the final product or contract farming. The eligibility of the applicants should be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also is obliged to facilitate these extra-territorial cultivations through drafting bilateral agreements with target countries, providing necessary information about agricultural regulations of the target country, legal protection form the applicants and facilitation of the consular affairs. The Ministry of Economy and Finance may cooperate with private sectors in implementation of the large-scale project of extra-territorial cultivation. Iran Central bank is obliged to provide needed currency credit to the eligible applicants. Furthermore, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare is obliged to protect the rights of Iranian workforce in the target countries.
