Regulation on Optimization, Monitoring, Maintenance, Utilization, and Management of Forests.

The purpose of the present Regulation, which consists of 10 articles and 1 Annex, is to set provisions on the efficient management of forests and optimizing the use of forests. The Ministry of Agriculture is the responsible authority to provide sustainable management of forests in the country. According to the Regulation, the forests and woods shall be considered as national resources of the Country and in order to protect these resources, the Ministry shall work in close collaboration with the Forestry Organization, the Cultural Heritage Organization and Tourism Organization. The Ministry of Agriculture shall map all forests of the Country and monitor any violations.
