Regulation on Studies and Research of Renewable Energies and their Effective Utilization.

The Regulation, which consists of 6 articles, regulates provisions to coordinate the governmental activities regarding research on renewable energies. The Ministry of Energy is the responsible authority for any activity concerning renewable energies, including policy making, planning, supervision and legal issues. Regarding the renewable energies, the Ministry may draft working contracts with non-governmental agencies and scientific and research institutes. According to the Regulation, all duties, liabilities, facilities and human resources of the Atomic Energy Organization and Ministry of Agriculture regarding renewable energies will be transferred to the Ministry.
