Abstract
These Regulations specify maximum limits of gross registered tonnage for single bottom trawlers and the total authorized tonnage for bottom trawlers for industrial fishing (regulations 1.1 and 1.2). Regulations 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 provide for restrictions which apply to bottom trawling: Mesh sizes of trawl wings, cod and apron (reg. 1.3); limitation of the fishing area (reg. 1.4); close season (reg. 1.5).
