Statute of the Iran Water Resources Management Company.

The Law is the Status of the Water Resources Management Company of Iran which has been established to organize the activities of the Ministry of Energy in the field of water resources. The Act consists of 33 articles divided into 5 chapters; General Provisions and Funding (I); Activities and Duties (II); Structure (III); Financial Statements (IV); Miscellaneous Provisions (V).
The main activities of the Company include, management of the water resources, technical, legal and administrative support, conservation, abstraction and development of water resources, maintenance and improvement of the water infrastructures and installations, generation of hydroelectric power as well as research and development. The Company consists of a General Assembly, a Board of Director, an Executive Manager and an Inspector. Regarding the general policies and development programs, the Water Resources Management Company is subject to the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Energy. The Act also include a list of all subsidiary companies of the Water Resources Management Company.
