Act No. 110 on organizations for the public benefit.

The present Act lays down rules regulating non-governmental entities registered as non-profit organizations and that are established for the purpose of promoting specific issues for the benefit of the public. The Act contains 37 articles divided into the following Chapters: I. General provisions; II. Establishment of an organization for the public benefit; III. Membership; IV. Decision making; V. Administration; VI. Dissolution; VII. Liquidation by a court; VIII. Registration in the Register of Non Profit Organisations; IX. Penalties; X. Entry into force. The Act contains detailed ruled on all aspects of the functioning of the organizations subject to regulation.
