Act No. 42 on the workplace certificates and supervision of workplaces.

The objective of the present Act is to ensure that employers on the domestic labor market and their employees comply with applicable laws, regulations and collective agreements. Supervisory representatives of the labor market's organizations are permitted to make inspection visits to the employer's workplaces in order to make sure that the employer and his employees are working in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and collective agreements. The inspectors shall be granted access to workplaces for that purpose. Rules are laid down on follow-up supervisions, daily fines, the complaints procedures.
