Act No. 85 on amendments to various Acts in the field of fisheries management (supervision of the Fisheries Directorate) etc.

The present Act modifies various Acts in the field of fisheries management for supervision and enforcement purposes. It authorizes inspectors of the Fisheries Directorate to access to electronic monitoring systems in landing ports for the purpose of monitoring landings; mandates skippers of fishing vessels, which have fishing permits for commercial purposes according to the laws on fisheries management to electronically submit catch information to the Fisheries Directorate before the fishing trip ends; defines the actions to be taken when a party does not provide the required information; authorizes the Fisheries Directorate to use remote-controlled drones in their surveillance duties, equipped with cameras for recording or other remote equipment capable of gathering information; establishes penalties; etc.
