Act No. 89 on the collection of fees for aquaculture in the sea and the aquaculture fund.

The present Act lays down provisions on fees for aquaculture and establishes a special aquaculture fund whose role is to strengthen the development of infrastructure where aquaculture is practiced in sea cages. The obligation to pay the fee is the responsibility of the licensee of the aquaculture farm. The Act contains specific rules on the amount of the fee; the fee base; the obligation to declare and collect information; the collection of the fee; the government of the aquaculture fund; etc. The Directorate of Fisheries shall be responsible for charging the fee in accordance with this Act.
