Abstract
The present Code of Conduct applies to the staff of Government Offices in Iceland and seeks to increase confidence in public administration. Each staff member of the public administration shall ensure that they comply with the Code, and Senior ministry officials shall make certain that staff are aware of the Code and that its rules are integral to ministry activities. The Code covers workplace relations and procedures, behaviour and conduct, conflicts of interests and shared interests, communication with the media, etc.
