Abstract
This regulation governs Icelandic vessels fishing in the NEAFC Convention Area, especially high seas areas outside national jurisdiction. It requires vessels to obtain permits, use satellite tracking, keep electronic catch logs, send entry, exit and catch reports, allow onboard inspections, follow NEAFC conservation rules, protect vulnerable marine ecosystems, and comply with weighing, landing and foreign-port notification procedures. Breaches may lead to penalties under Icelandic fisheries legislation.
