Abstract
This regulation governs the landing of fish intended for reduction into fishmeal abroad, allowing such landings only at foreign fishmeal factories whose weighing methods and controls are recognised by the Icelandic Directorate of Fisheries. It requires the vessel master to notify the Directorate and the Coast Guard of the estimated catch, landing place, and arrival time, to report any changes, and to submit a confirmed weighing note after landing; if the information is inadequate or unreliable, the catch may be calculated as a full load based on the vessel’s verified carrying capacity.
