Act No. 399 amending Act of 15 February 1963, No. 281 on the preparation of and trade in animal feeds.

This Act amends several articles of Act of 15 February 1963 No. 281. According to the amendments the Act applies to plant, animal, mineral products and also to chemical products used in breeding-animal feeds. It requires an authorization to be issued by the Prefect for the distribution of simple feeds of animal origin and compound feeds, prior verification of the sanitary conditions of the establishment concerned. Instead, the distribution of feed supplements must be authorized by the Ministry of Health. Article 2 concerns the establishment of an advisory commission (under the Ministry of Health) in charge for a period of four years. The Decree amends articles 9 through 14 on the information to be provided for the import and distribution of the different categories of animal feeds.
