Decision of the Committee for protected nature areas approving the second three-year Programme for protected areas.

This Decree concerns the approval of the 1994-96 programme for protected areas for the purpose of implementing article 4 of Act No. 394 of 1991. The second Programme for protected areas follows the principles of the first Programme of 1993, which has not been implemented due to difficulties in enforcing the Act No. 394 of 6 December 1991 laying down the legal framework for protected areas, and in particular in constituting the technical secretariat for protected areas. In order to partially offset the delay occurred, the programme establishes priorities for the allocation of financial resources available in favour of regional protected areas and protected areas of national relevance.
