Decree 3 February 2018 Emergency measures for the prevention, control and eradication of Xylella fastidiosa (Well et al.) on the territory of the Italian Republic.

This Decree determines the necessary phytosanitary measures for the effective prevention and containment of the spread of the Xylella/Xylella fastidiosa (Well et al.) plant harmful organism as regards the territory of the Republic of Italy (measures also brought by the related National emergency plan).
Measures stipulated by this Decree are closely related to the: phytosanitary emergency principles and requirements aimed at setting several emergency and ordinary plant health control/inspection and monitoring issues and practices; related scientific research; definition of sensible and/or infected areas; eradication measures; internal (European Union) and international trade and transport provisions (articles 12, 13 and 21); and offences and penalties.
