Decree 31 May 2022. Electronic recordings of the processing of food-producing animals.

This decree applies to registrations, exclusively in electronic format, of the treatments related to the purchase, the possession and administration of veterinary medicinal products, of the owners and keepers of food producing animals and veterinary surgeons. The Decree provides that the records of medicines used on animals from food production are carried out on the informative system of traceability of veterinary medicines and medicated feed and, in particular, on the national information system for pharmacosurveillance.
The Decree describes the responsibility of the owners and keepers of the animals intended for the production of food and doctors veterinarians as well as the responsibility of pharmacists working in the business of retail and direct sales and personnel qualified from feed business operators. As per the Decree, all the subjects above mentioned must be identified in the information system of traceability of veterinary medicinal products and medicated feed, and in particular in the REV system and request thecredentials.
The Decree finally sets provisions on the access to data from the traceability information system veterinary medicines and medicated feed.
