Decree approving the Statute of the Wildlife Observatory of the Sicilian Region

This Decree approves the Statute which regulates the functioning of the Wildlife Observatory of the Sicilian Region, a scientific advisory body which has been established under the Regional Counsel of Agriculture and Forestry by Regional Act No. 33 of 1997. The Annex attached to the Decree specifies the tasks which pertain to the Observatory, which shall in particular give scientific opinions to the Provinces, local institutions and entities managing nature reserves. The Observatory shall also collaborate with the National Widlife Institute.
