Decree December 23, 2021. Approval of the national forestry strategy.

This Decree approves the national forestry strategy, prepared pursuant to the Legislative Decree of April 3, 2018, No. 34 "Single text on forests and forestry supply chains."
The strategy is composed by the document called "National Forest Strategy" and Annexes 1 and 2 to the present decree, of which they constitute an integral part.
The strategy has a 20-year duration and is subject to reviews and updates every five years. The Decree further provides that the regions, consistently with national forestry strategy guidelines, adopt regional forestry programs, identifying their objectives and defining the related actions, as established by Legislative Decree April 3, 2018, n. 34.
