Abstract
This decree applies to all types of milk and dairy products listed in Annex 1, prepacked and intended for human consumption.
The Decree provides for the obligation to indicate the origin of milk and and milk used as an ingredient in dairy products. Such indication must be displied on a label containing the wording provided for by article 2: the milking country and the country of packaging or processing. If the milking or packaging are made in more countries this must be indicated.
The Decree also provides for rules to favor a better consumer information and foresees sanctions applicable in case of violations of the obligations set forth in this Decree.
