Abstract
This Decree sets forth specific measures to prevent the introduction and the spread within the national territory of the harmful organism Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier). Firstly, the Decree prohibits the introduction and keeping of such organism. Secondly, the Decree lays down strict requirements for importing plants which are susceptible to that organism. Article 12 sets out the penalties to be applied in case of infringement.
