Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers 5 December 2019, No. 179 approving the regulation for the reorganization of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, pursuant to Law 2019/132.

This Decree approves the regulation for the reorganization of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies. Art 1 concerns functions and powers of the Ministry and identifies its three Departments, whose organization is respectively disciplined by Artt. 2,3 and 4. Follow: a) Department for European and International Policies and rural development (Dipartimento delle politiche europee e internazionali e dello sviluppo rurale); b) Department for competitive policies, agribusiness quality, fishing and horse racing (Dipartimento delle politiche competitive, della qualita' agroalimentare, della pesca e dell'ippica); c) Department for agri-food products quality protection and fraud repression (Dipartimento dell'Ispettorato centrale della tutela della qualita' e della repressione frodi dei prodotti agroalimentari). Art 2 disciplines the organization of the Department of European and International Policies and rural development (Dipartimento delle politiche europee e internazionali e dello sviluppo rurale). Art. 6 concerns enforcement and Art 7 provides for Department staff selection.
