Decree of the President of the Province No. 45 on the landfill of waste.

This Decree lays down technical requirements applicable to the landfill of waste, with a view to preventing or reducing negative effects on the environment. Landfills of waste are classified as per different types of waste, namely: inert waste; non-hazardous waste; and hazardous waste. The provincial council shall draw up a special programme for the reduction of biodegradable waste (art. 4). Further provisions regard the procedure relating to the issue of the authorization required for the establishment of landfills.
