Law 15 December 2004, n. 308 Delegation to the Government for the reorganization, coordination and integration of environmental legislation and directly applicable measures.

This Law here officially delegates the Government of the Republic of Italy to adopt, within eighteen months from the date of entry into force of this text, without new or higher charges for public finance, one or more decrees for the purpose of legislative reorganization, coordination and integration of the legislative provisions in the following sectors and subjects: waste management and remediation of contaminated sites; protection of water from pollution and management of water resources; soil protection and fight against desertification; management of protected areas, conservation and use sustainable specimens of protected species of flora and fauna; protection against damages to the environment; procedures for environmental impact assessment (EIA), for strategic environmental assessment (SEA) and for integrated environmental authorization; air protection and reduction of atmospheric emissions.
