Law no. 18 of 7 February 2017 on the conversion into Law, with modifications, of the Decree-Law no. 243 from 29 December 2016 on urgent action on social and territorial cohesion, with particular reference to critical situations in some areas of the Italian south.

This Law officially converts (with many amendments and modifications as listed in the this text) the Decree-Law no. 243 of 29 December 2016 that defines the necessary actions for urgent social and territorial cohesion, with particular emphasis referring to various critical situations in some areas of the Italian south (south part of Italian peninsula also called Mezzogiorno) into a fully adopted and observed Italian national Law to be implemented.
These provisions are also aimed for all entities and/or subjects active in the primary production of products part of the agricultural, fishery and aquaculture sector.
