The legislation revises administrative sanctions for violations related to traceability, labeling, and the use of protected names, including specific provisions for the dairy sector and the protection of DOP and IGP products. It establishes a national control plan for dairy products with protected status, enhances coordination among regulatory authorities, and introduces a central body for administrative controls in the agri-food sector. The law also addresses the regulation of fishing activities, updating sanctions and procedures to ensure compliance with national and European standards.
