Abstract
This Decree sets the exact disciplinary-sanction regime and additional provisions as regards the application of the obligations contained in several European Council Regulations regarding the materials and objects intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
The rules considered under the terms of this Decree are part of: Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC; Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 on good practices manufacture of materials and objects destined to come to contact with foodstuffs; Regulation (EC) 282/2008 related to recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with food; Regulation (EC) No. 450/2009 concerning the active and intelligent materials destined to come in contact with food; Regulation (EC) No. 10/2011 related to plastic materials and articles destined to come in contact with foodstuffs; Regulation (EC) 1895/2005 related to the restriction of the use of certain epoxy derivatives in materials and objects intended to come into contact with products such as food; and other as listed in this text.
