Abstract
This Legislative Decree sets out the ecodesign requirements to be met by energy related products in order to be placed on the market and put into service. The aim is to increase energy efficiency while ensuring at the same time a high level of environmental protection. Monitoring functions are entrusted to the Ministry of Economic Development. Article 17 lays down penalties.
