Legislative Decree No. 99 in matter of legal persons and entities, activities and administrative simplification in the agricultural sector, as per article 1, paragraph 2 of Act No. 38 of 2003.

This Legislative Decree has been adopted on the basis of Act No. 38 of 2003, which establishes the principles and general criteria to be followed by the Government in the drafting of bills relating to the agricultural, forestry, food, fisheries and aquaculture sectors. The present provisions refer to the agricultural sector, giving particular regard to the definition of agricultural entrepreneur (art. 1) and agricultural companies (art. 2) for the purpose of granting of subsidies. Moreover, particular amendments and addenda are laid down to Legislative Decree No. 228 of 2001 laying down the guidelines and modernizing the agricultural sector, as regards producers’ organizations.
