Abstract
This decree, in line with the European 2020 and 2030 objectives, aims to support the production of electricity from plants powered by renewable sources, by defining incentives and access methods that promote effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability.
The text is divided into 6 Headings. The first heading covers general issues: it provides definitions for the interpretation of the text and describes the procedures and requirements for the access to the incentive mechanisms.
Chapter 2 describes the procedures for the registration of installations and the requirements for the access of registered plants to the incentive mechanisms.
Heading 3 is dedicated to the auction procedures while heading 4 concerns the incentives for the electricity production from installations which were subject to a total or partial renovation.
Heading 5 covers renewables long term contracts while heading 6 is dedicated to other, residual, provisions such as power reallocation mechanisms.
