Abstract
The Ministerial Decree updates national legislation concerning fishing licences for all fishery types, as well as fishing gears, in order to align it with European Union legislation on this matter. In particular the Decree is adopted pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1224/2009, which establishes a Community control system for ensuring compliance with the rules of the common fisheries policy.
