Ministerial Decree concerning the adoption of the 1996 plan for the official control of the trade in and use of pesticides.

The plan concerns the control of: (a) the compliance of the pesticides with the current laws and, in particular, with the authorization requirements; (b) the use of the pesticides according to satisfactory procedure and, whenever possible, to the integrated pest management. To these ends the Decree establishes the frequency of inspections and sampling modalities, the criteria for the analysis and the presentation of the data collected.
