Ministerial Decree implementing Council Directive 90/167/EEC of 26 March 1990 laying down the conditions governing the preparation, placing on the market and use of medicated feedingstuffs in the Community.

The Ministerial Decree amends Ministerial Decree of 16 November 1993 as follows: article 1, paragraph 1 is replaced; paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 8 are replaced; article 10, paragraph 2 is replaced; Annex 1, paragraph h) is replaced. Production of medicated premixes and feedingstuffs for marketing and distribution purposes is permitted only upon authorization issued by the Ministry of Health, in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 1 to this Decree. The competent Provincial Commission shall previously perform an assessment to ensure that the above-mentioned feedstuffs meet the standards required. Manufacturers must keep daily records of the types and quantities of the authorized medicated premixes and feedingstuffs used and of the medicated feedingstuffs manufactured, held or dispatched.
