Ministerial Decree on the modalities for the circulation of informative and educational material and on the controls on the information concerning infant food.

The Ministerial Decree consists of five articles. Article 1 defines the informative and educational material on breastfeeding and infant food, intended for families and operators concerned. Its content must be scientifically correct, complete and up-to-date. Enterprises, entities or other organisms responsible for the circulation of such material shall forward a copy to the Ministry of Health. In case the Ministry reckons the content of the material is not suitable as regards the informative and educational purposes, it will, within thirty days, provide for the termination of the circulation, the prohibition of the circulation, or for the destruction or withdrawal of the material, as appropriate. Article 5 of the Decree refers to penalties.
