Ministerial Decree No. 308 regulating the registration of poplar clones in the National Register of Forest Clones.

The application for the registration of the clones is approved by the Poplar National Commission, upon favourable advice of the Technical Committee. For the registration the latter shall take into account: (a) morphological and phenological characteristics for the identification of the material; and (b) characteristics of the plant, e.g. resistance to certain diseases, uprightness of the trunk and rooting probability. The Decree consists of 7 articles and 7 annexes, concerning the list of all the information required for the identification and description of the plant.
