Abstract
With a view to promote the rationalization and development of marine fisheries, the Decree regulates the commercial fishing for fry and Alphia minuta , which may be carried out every year for the period from 15 January to 15 March. During said period the possession, transport and trade of such species are allowed as well. The Decree establishes also the fishing gear permitted and the characteristics of the fishing nets employed. The shipowner has to submit to the competent maritime district a form containing all the information regarding the total catch, the days in which, and the places where fishing activities have been carried out.
