Ministerial Decree regulating the production, purchase and distribution of vaccines for the compulsory prophylaxis of animal diseases and for emergency interventions.

The Decree entrusts to the Regions the purchase and distribution of vaccines against rabies, foot-and-mouth disease, classical swine pest and other animal diseases. The Ministry of Health shall provide for the storage of vaccines in order to face emergency situations. The Decree establishes also the institutes in charge of the production of the different vaccines.
