Presidential Decree No. 230 implementing EEC Directives Nos. 79/109, 79/111, 80/219, 80/1098, 80/1099, 80/1274, 82/893, 83/646, 84/336, 85/586, 87/489 and 88/406 on intracommunity exchanges of bovines and swines, according also to Directives Nos. 84/643, 90/422 and 90/423.

The Decree amends some provisions of Act of 30 April 1976, No. 397 regarding all the requirements for the introduction into the national territory of animals originating from a member country. The Annexes concern, inter alia, the inspections of the cattle breeding to be officially declared disease free, the preparation of the serum, the tests to be carried out on milk (i.e. the Ring Test, the White Side Test, etc.). Annex F contains a specimen of the sanitary certificate to be issued for exchanges among member states.
