Regional Act No. 15 on the promotion and development of environmental information and education

This Regional Act promotes environmental education initiatives, the collection and dissemination of information concerning the quality of the environment as well as the access to environmental information. These overall objectives are to be attained through the following instruments: (1) the Programme on Environmental Information and Education (INFEA); (2) environmental information and education centres (art. 3); (3) reports on the quality of the environment in the Emilia Romagna Region (art. 5). The INFEA programme is to be adopted by the Regional Council in compliance with article 2. The Regional Council shall be assisted by the Regional Coordinating Commission set up by article 6.
