Regional Act No. 6 of 1996 on the identification of ATO's (Optimal Territorial Areas) and on the integrated management of water resources in implementation of Act No. 36 of 1994.

The Lazio Region establishes the cooperation measures to be taken between local entities and the management and organization of the integrated water resources service. Under Article 2 are established the ATOs. The Regional Council provides for the modifications and integration of the ATOs and local entities will cooperate through cooperation conventions and consortia. (21 Articles and 2 Annexes)
