Abstract
The present Regional Act provides for the establishment of the Regional Agency of Environmental Protection (ARPA) which shall exercise advisory and control functions with a view to preventing the deterioration of the environment and ensuring environmental protection. The Agency shall be subject to the surveillance of the President of the Regional Council. Article 3 defines with detail the tasks and duties of the Agency.
