Regional Law 24 January 2022, n. 1 Rules on social agriculture

The Emilia-Romagna Region, in compliance with the principles of law no. 141/2015 (Provisions regarding social agriculture) and in harmony with its Statute, it promotes and supports social agriculture as a tool capable of promoting new employment and income opportunities, also favoring the multifunctionality of agricultural enterprises in the direction of the development of educational interventions, social services and health interventions and work integration.
In this context, the Region promotes the knowledge and development of social agriculture and social farms throughout the regional territory, including the services they offer, particularly the innovative ones, through appropriate actions of information, animation and communication, as well as through the analysis of effective models for the dissemination of good practices and for the better integration of social agriculture with rural development regional policies.
The law provides the regional list of the agricultural farming and it sets up rules for the exercise of the related activities, including hygiene measures for the administration of meals and drinks. It also foresees subsidies and support measures.
