Regional Law March 23, 2017 , No. 4. Rules for the enhancement and promotion of the solidarity economy.

This Law, which is composed by 4 Headings, recognizes and supports the solidarity economy as a socio-economic and cultural model hinged on local communities and marked by principles of solidarity, reciprocity, environmental sustainability, social cohesion, care for the common goods and as a fundamental tool to address the situations of economic, employment and environmental crisis.
As described by Heading 1, the Law's main goal is to: a) promote the activities and practices of solidarity economy and support the entities that implement its good practices; (b) recognize the forms of coordination and representation of subjects engaged in the solidarity economy, in regional consultation forums and in relations with institutions.
Heading 2 describes the forms of participation and representation of the solidarity economy while Heading 3 provides for supporting measures and establishes the regulatory power of the Region as well as its monitoring duties on the implementation of this law and on the evaluation of the obtained results.
Heading 4 sets up financing rules.
