Abstract
The Act establishes the Caribbean Maritime Institute as a body corporate, defines its functions and powers and provides with respect to its management, structure and administration. The Institute shall, among other things, provide a resource centre for the maritime industry with a view to the development and maintenance of a vibrant shipping industry in the Caribbean region.
