Abstract
This Act makes provision for the establishment of the Cocoa Industry Board as a body corporate and defines its functions, powers and rules of internal organization.
The members of the Board shall be appointed by the Minister. The Board shall, among other things: (a) promote the interests and efficiency of the cocoa industry; (b) secure the most favourable arrangements for the purchase, handling, marketing, sale, importation and exportation of cocoa; and (c) advise the Minister.
