Abstract
This Act amends the definition of disaster by adding the occurrence or threat of an occurrence of an event or other calamity which may result from a hazardous materials incident, a nuclear or radiation emergency, or a pandemic, and adds the definitions of hazardous material, hazardous materials incident, and nuclear or radiation emergency. Furthermore, this Act amends several sections and Fifth and Sixth Schedules regarding offences and penalties.
