Abstract
This Order of the Prime Minister made under section 26 of the Disaster Risk Management Act declares the whole of Jamaica as a disaster area because of the threat of outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. The Order empowers the competent authorities to take emergency measures in addition to those specified in the Act.
