Abstract
These Regulations introduce measures to control the spreading of Equine Encephalomyelitis in Jamaica.
They impose a duty on every person having under his or her charge any animal affected with, or suspected to be affected with, Equine Encephalomyelitis to notify authorities and to comply with directions given by an inspector and rules and conditions contained in these Regulations regarding movement of animals from infected places and disinfecting of equipment used in connection with conveyance of any animal or carcass within or out of an infected area.
