Abstract
Regulations 3 to 17 declare various actions to be prohibited in marine parks. Regulation 8 prohibits fishing in a marine park without a written permission from the park manager. The Natural Resources Conservation Authority may ban fishing altogether from certain areas, in certain periods, or impose conditions on the permission to fish. No explosives, electrical device or poison shall be used. Regulation 18 provides for the seizure of vessels or gear or used for illegal activities. Regulations 19 to 21 contain provisions regarding enforcement. The Authority may establish zones in the marine park area and attach conditions with regard to the use of each zone under regulation 22. The remaining regulations concern functions of marine park rangers (regs. 23-26), an Advisory Board to be appointed by the Authority under regulation 27, certificates and appeals (regs. 28 and 29).
