Abstract
Every owner, occupier or any other person having the charge or management of land who knows or suspects the existence of the Pink Mealybug plant pest on such land shall notify the Chief Plant Quarantine Officer and report to the Parish Agricultural Manager of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) in the parish in which the land is situated and to another officer indicated in article 3 and shall not remove from the land any plant or plant material unless authorized in writing by the Chief Plant Quarantine Officer. Any officer appointed under section 5 of the Plants (Quarantine) Act may direct the owner, occupier or any other person in charge of the land to implement measures prescribed by the Chief Plant Quarantine Officer and enter upon land in order to carry out pest eradication measures.
